October 12, 200421 yr Anyone have this game yet? I know if you get the Special Edition you get an ARCADE PERFECT (basically, that's slang for it's the freakin' Arcade Version, no changes) of Mortal Kombat 1 with it, for only 10 bucks more. I liked Deadly Alliance and Deception looks like it's in the scheme of, so I'm pretty pumped about it. Also, on a sidenote, Midway has put out two PS2, X-Box versions of their arcade classics, the 2nd set contains the ARCADE PEFECT (like how I capitalized it again?) versions of MK2 and MK3. There's tons of good stuff on there, too, like Pit Fighter and the 1st set contains 720, Paperboy, etc. Definitely thing(s) to check out.

October 12, 200421 yr I played it at a buddies house, the game is really good. That konquest mode can get a little boring but otherwise it's good.
October 13, 200421 yr MK II is the best MK game. 590461[/snapback] I completely agree. I spent so much money on that in the arcades and played it non-stop when it came out on the SNES. Hell I still play it on my PC with an arcade emulator.

I remember the first MK on SNES didn't have blood. :thumbdown :lol It was like greyish liquid. But MK II on SNES had blood.

And yes, I do remember the overcrowded arcades. Luckily there was a small laundromat by my house that few people knew about that had the machine so I got to play without having to go to the crowded arcade.
October 13, 200421 yr Author I have Deception, MK2 and MK3 (Arcade versions, part of Midway Treasures series) in the mail. It's too bad college has to get in the way of non-stop geeking.
