Flying_Mollusk
Why dont you just use Cat Scratch Fever Bush! John Hall, a former Democratic county legislator in upstate New York, co-wrote the song and recorded it with his band Orleans in 1976. He complained Friday morning about the campaign's use of the song at the president's events. Hall, still a working musician at 56, wrote "Still the One" with his then-wife, Johanna D. Hall. The two, as well as surviving members of the band, are supporters of Democratic Sen. John Kerry and didn't want their work used to promote Bush's re-election. http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/10/29/...e.ap/index.html

Accord
When Bush was at the Office Depot Center like 2 weeks ago they played the Top Gun theme song.
Rune
Not as bad as Reagan using The Boss's work and when he clearly didn't have permission. These campaigns need to stop using music period, the last one to use it effectively was Clinton in 92. Just play some random patriotic music anymore. BullDurham
Not to mention "Born in the USA" had a completely different meaning from what Reagan was trying to get across.

You think Ford and GM like having drunk drivers kill people driving their products?
