November 3, 200421 yr Im conceding the election. I still have my views on all the issues. I still believe in John Kerry. I still am infuriated with George W. Bush. Things just didnt turn out the way I had hoped. Flame away.
November 3, 200421 yr President running for re-election during wartime has never lost, apparently. Ah well, life will go on. I'd like to think Bush will do his best to unite the nation and pursue a moderate responsible agenda. And I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it. He'll see it as vindication. With even more congressional support now, he'll continue with the same old same old.
November 3, 200421 yr Hey FM..... I have always appreciated your educated and informed opinions, even if they were in direct opposition of mine. I admire your conviction. Keep up the good fight..... Here's to a great mid-term for you.

November 3, 200421 yr I had a post like this for Bush. I honestly thought he'd lose. That having been said, I'm curious to find out your thoughts on why Kerry lost. Was it because it's wartime?

November 3, 200421 yr Im conceding the election. I still have my views on all the issues. I still believe in John Kerry. I still am infuriated with George W. Bush. Things just didnt turn out the way I had hoped. Flame away. John Kerry is a fuc*ing idiot. And I voted for him. It's Al Gore all over again. He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. He could've picked a popular Ohio politican to be his running mate and swing the State in his favor or he could've picked Bob Graham to help him take Florida, but noooooooooooooo he had to go and pick a lame-duck Senator from NC as his veep. Now, it's 4 more years of zealotry running this country.
November 3, 200421 yr I had a post like this for Bush. I honestly thought he'd lose. That having been said, I'm curious to find out your thoughts on why Kerry lost. Was it because it's wartime? Where to begin: 1. Picking Edwards as his veep instead of Bob Graham or someone from Ohio or Missouri 2. Relying too heavily on Vietnam 3. Not properly explaining how he voted for the $87 billion for Iraq before he voted against it (his motivations were really quite valid and fiscally sound) 4. Letting himself get caught up in that Swift Boat idiocy (when it was easily refutable) and letting it take him off the attack on Dubya 5. Not coming out strongly enough against gay marriage 6. Waiting too long to use Bush's dirty tactics against him
