The win clinches a share of the MAC West title, and NIU could win the MAC West outright and go to the MAC title game if Bowling Green wins at Toledo Tuesday. If not, NIU still has a pretty good chance of making either the GMAC, Motor City, or Silicon Valley Bowl. The star of the day was Tailback Garrett Wolfe, who had 43 carries for a single game school record of 325 yards, and had 2 TD's, giving him 20 for the season, which ties a school record.
