December 15, 200421 yr At the season ticket event tonight, Beinfest said that our starting lineup is baiscally set and named last years lineup. He said that we are looking for a 5th starter and tring to strenghten the bullpen and when asked about Delluci he said that he would like to have him so he can have a lefty but if Jack can win with all righties then he will take it.

Encarnacion had 94 RBI's in 2003. That's more RBI's than Mike Lowell had in 2004... I think if we get a full season with a healthy LoDuca and Encarnacion, in addition to the guys we already have, we'll have a damn good lineup.

December 15, 200421 yr Only Encarnacion wasn't productive in 2003!!!! He hit a bland .260 with runners in scoring position. The only reason he got 94 RBIs was because Lee, Pudge and Lowell were getting on base a lot in front of him.
