I didnt think it was the end either. Id have to disagree with you. I thought there was alot more variety with this one. Actual bosses you have to face, playing as the Arbitor, better weapons, more integration of vehicles. I do think that they need to kick the Flood out of the next game. I am sick and tired of them.
December 19, 200421 yr From what I heard Microsoft pulled a fast one on X-Box owners, by changing this game to take out all but one level of action that occurs on Earth, most likely so that they could make an even MORE anticipated second sequel that would take place on Earth. But until the game came out, every indication was, the game mostly took place on Earth.
December 19, 200421 yr When it ended I was like uuuhhhh whats this, but it was still a ton of fun to play.
December 20, 200421 yr It pissed me off. Not only was there no ending, the game ended as I started getting really into it.

I so wanted to get Master Chief and shoot the crap outta the prophet but what can you do. I found the story line to be highly engrossing and when all is said and done, pretty well done. I can't wait till the sequel comes out so I can kick ass. But that level was kind of a p***y level where you have to kill the Ape covenant chieftain. My favorite part of the game by far was being the Arbitor, that kicked so much ass.

I love it when they go to earth the first time and the marines are in the craft and the Sarge is like: Dear Convenant, we regret... and the marines with him go Hoorah! I swear I felt like I was watching mail call on the History Channel.
