There is good news however, it could have been worse. It was 68-9 at the half.

Furman 126, VA Intermont 33

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Eric Webb scored 27 points and Furman set records for 3-pointers and margin of victory in a 126-33 victory over Virginia Intermont on Wednesday night.

The Paladins (7-4) made 21 3-pointers, surpassing the previous mark of 14 against Davidson last season. The 93-point margin topped an 87-point victory over The Citadel in 1955.

Webb, who had eight 3-pointers, led five Paladins in double figures. George Brozos scored 20 points, Robby Bostain and Quan Prowell each had 17 and Tony Carter added 12.

Chris Wise scored 14 points to lead the NAIA Division II Cobras (0-13).

Furman scored the game's first 16 points and went ahead by 33 midway through the first half. The Paladins led 69-8 at halftime.

Furman shot 70 percent (49-of-70) from the field goals, while Virginia Intermont hit 30 percent (12-of-40).

The win was gave coach Admin Davis a 100-117 record in eight seasons.

Furman is probably pissed, if their football team had a game that lop sided, he would actually play!!

*zing*

Has anyone here heard of Virginia Intermont? Think Barry U could beat them?

That's what I was thinking, I don't get why schools would even let themselves schedule games that they will get demolished in.

And no offense to some, but it isn't like Furman is a big time program. Maybe I could see the benefits of getting slaughtered in Durham or Chapel Hill, playing a big time school to get your name out there. Maybe the score wasn't because they played Furman -- maybe they lose like this all the time. They are 0-13.

Just checked out their site. They play some teams like Covenant College and lost to Tennessee Tech earlier this year. It's amazing how much basketball is being played in our country. You know these guys can't be that bad, but there are thousands and thousands of college teams out there. Even Johnson and Wales has team (they practice at Edison Middle). Correction: They play their home games at Country Day. That's pretty low.
