December 30, 200421 yr No time better time to see what Sage can do than now. 644738 not against the ravens! if anything he should've started against cleveland i feel VERY sorry for him ray-ray vs. sage is not a favorable matchup 644740 But he is playing for his job. Before they cut him they have to see what he has. I think they started AJ because it was the last home game of the year, last wek, and they didn't want the fans to get po'ed if they lost to the Browns with Sage starting. If Sage lays an egg he will probably need to go find a new town to play in, like Jay and the Dolphins will bring in a vetran and maybe even draft a young qb too. Hopefully the vet could at least tutor AJ and the rookie and start for a year or two.
December 30, 200421 yr yea i think they shouldn't draft a QB tho AJ can be the QB of the future. not sage tho
December 30, 200421 yr yea i think they shouldn't draft a QB tho AJ can be the QB of the future. not sage tho 644764 I think they should draft Chang if he is still there is the 5th or 6th. People knock him because of his INTs. But people forget to account for the fact that he passes around 50 times a game and teams usually drop 8 against him every play because Hawaii has NO running game at all. And for him to still put up the numbers he did despite the fact teams knew all they had to stop was him is pretty impressive.
December 30, 200421 yr Author Rosenfels expected to get first pro start By Associated Press DAVIE, Fla. (AP) ? Third-string quarterback Sage Rosenfels likely will make his first career start Sunday for Miami against Baltimore in place of A.J. Feeley, who has a rib injury. Feeley aggravated a rib injury in last week?s 10-7 win over Cleveland and is listed as doubtful. Interim coach Jim Bates said Feeley did not practice Wednesday and is not expected to work out today. Baltimore (8-7) needs to beat Miami (4-11) in the season finale and then get lots of help to keep its playoff hopes alive. ?This is like any other week,? Rosenfels said. ?I?m going to get ready to play just like any other week.? Rosenfels has played in eight games during his three years with Miami, completing 4 of 10 passes for one touchdown and no interceptions. He?s thrown one pass this year ? it was incomplete. ?I?m very excited for him,? tight end Randy McMichael said. ?He has all the tools. He just has to get the experience.? Rosenfels has become a fan favorite over the past three years. He received a loud ovation when he briefly entered last week?s game. ?He came into the game for one play, and everyone went nuts,? defensive end David Bowens said. Rosenfels hopes the fans will feel the same way after Sunday?s game. ?Everyone loves a backup quarterback until he gets in,? he said. Feeley started eight games this season but struggled throughout most of the year, completing 54 percent of his passes for 1,893 yards, 11 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Jay Fiedler, who started the season as Miami?s starter, has been out since Nov. 23 with a herniated disc. Veteran Jason Garrett will be Rosenfels? backup.
December 30, 200421 yr The Season's over. THis kid's not surviving next year so what's the point of letting him be pummeled by that type of defense?
December 30, 200421 yr Author The Season's over. THis kid's not surviving next year so what's the point of letting him be pummeled by that type of defense?644988 Because A.J. Feeley is injured.
December 30, 200421 yr Author I think it is pretty sad that the Dolphins are down to their third Quarterback this year. It just shows how bad this o-line is.
