January 3, 200521 yr if u have a good fastball sometimes thats enough because u cant teach speed but u can teach change-ups and sliders....am a scout and the first thing i look for is speed and control,after that if the guy doesnt have good braking stuff it doesnt kill the deal cause we can teach that....if u are serius about making it as a pitcher hire a pitching coach..2 weeks is more than enough time to learn the proper mechanics of a braking pitch and change...
