Texas is doen after this though...P.J Tucker will be ineligible and LaMarcus Aldridge is done for the season most liekly with injury.

OH WELL.... :mischief

yeah I heard about Tucker but why was he able to play last night? I haven't read anything on the situation so what's the deal?

The reason he wasn't recruited heavily by ACC schools(he's from NC) was his grades sucked. The Big 12 doesn't care about that though.

And yet even though they know this he still gets to play until he no longer can? I guess thats just Rick Barnes for you. I don't think I could see a situation like that happening at a Carolina or a Duke where academics actually matter.

Its for the start of the Spring Semester....which began recently there.

I just think if Barnes was actually concerned with academics he would make a statement and bench him as soon as he heard about it. I know thats what Dean Smith would do.

Barnes cant comment because of federal laws on student privacy. So get off his nuts.

The decision is expected Wednesday.

Their hopes to win the Big 12 are done yes, but they can still be a solid team, Rick Barnes as always has a deep roster to work with.

He was able to play last night, because the Spring Semester had not started yet, it just started today.

I know that but if I was Barnes I wouldn't have played him as soon as I heard that he was going to be ineligible which was days, maybe a couple weeks ago. I know that's a hard line stance but I guess that just how I see things.

Oh well Barnes and every other college coach knew that Tucker was gonna have trouble staying eligible and Barnes decided to take that chance and now he has to pay for it.
