  1. Hermida is so worthless in the outfield....defensively he's horrible! Please someone bring up the jokes who said he's better than Nate McLouth again. hahahahaha
  2. There's really nothing more to be said here after you put the "ZOMG JEWZZZZZ!!!" thing on the table... You really have nothing to say when this administration has shown the most POWER and SPENT the most in the history of this country in just 6 months. The sad thing is you still support him.
  3. ok...so i wanna know...how many people did thomas jefferson shoot in his lifetime? IMO, Owning a gun is a right shared by hundreds of thousands in this country having a gun is a privelage shared by millions in this country when i watch the news, when a bad guy is killed a guy, 99% of the time, its by a professional trained to use a gun correctly, not joe shmoe from idaho protecting his family when the big bad bad wolf blows down his door and tries to rob him everyone else that is killed by a gun is from someone who abuses the privelage of having a gun in some form or another...therefore...its proven shown time and time and time again...and if you need proof, just watch the local news...that we as americans, cannot, nor deserve the privelage of having a gun and are severely abusing the right to own a gun now...not to say that ownership of a gun should be illegal, no no no...but there should be every test that can be thrown at a person in order to have that right to own a gun...so that getting this license is a pain in the ass...that if you really want a gun...really, really, really want it...then you can pass a psych evaluation to make sure you a fit enough to not run around a school or campus or church or abortion clinic with it and kill everyone you see but alas...this law will never change until that last person has that last cap in their ass and there is no one left to shoot...so i just guess ill shake my head and nod with everything obama says like certain members accuse me of Your data is skewed. According to the New York Times (many people's favorite newspaper), 70% of violent acts AREN'T committed with a gun! Even JFK and Ghandi said it's ok to own a gun FOR YOUR PROTECTION! It should be any human's right to protect themselves and their family, as long as a background check states they are not a criminal./ .
  4. Hermida will probably make 3.5 million next year. Affordable,IMO. hahahahahaha.....The Hermida lovers just keep at it. Don't worry....in 2 years we will be having the same conversation about your boy Andrew Miller.
  5. As of right now... 1-Boston 2-Orlando 3-Cleveland Could all change with injuries....I don't expect the entire Boston lineup to stay injury free. Also, I believe the Magic aren't done and may add another solid player (Nate Robinson, Brandon Bass, etc.). Should be an interesting season.....
  6. Personally, I think his picture should always be in the game threads. I'd rather look at a combined picture of Lee, Beckett, Burnett, Penny, and Castillo before every game then someone bankrupting the country.
  7. I know it's early but what is everyone thinking as of today?
  8. I really just can't comprehend anybody disagreeing with Ron Paul as a whole, maybe just on certain topics. He is the most intelligent, logical politician out there.
  9. Read Ron Paul's Revolution. That will help you.
  10. Here's how I see it...we don't live in 1776 anymore. I don't think it should be a right to bear arms . It should be a privilege. Too many stupid people running around with guns these days. I disagree. We all need guns to protect ourselves from the government and if you think that sounds ridiculous then maybe you should read history and learn the reason why we "have a right to bear arms". Actually today is becoming more and more like 1776. Have you quartered any troops in time of peace lately? If so, I'm telling on you! It's people like you that we need to keep guns away from. Buncha crazies. Yes, I'm crazy for being a "Constitutionalist". Just because you probably weren't born here and you have no understanding of US History states you are the crazy one. "There are rights which it is useless to surrender to the government and which governments have yet always been found to invade. These are the rights of thinking and publishing our thoughts by speaking or writing; the right of free commerce; the right of personal freedom. There are instruments for administering the government so peculiarly trustworthy that we should never leave the legislature at liberty to change them. The new Constitution has secured these in the executive and legislative department, but not in the judiciary. It should have established trials by the people themselves, that is to say, by jury. There are instruments so dangerous to the rights of the nation and which place them so totally at the mercy of their governors that those governors, whether legislative or executive, should be restrained from keeping such instruments on foot but in well-defined cases. Such an instrument is a standing army." --Thomas Jefferson The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. -Thomas Jefferson I'm crazy for believing in the Constitution and also what Thomas Jefferson believes in. Just because I want to own a gun and be free doesn't mean I will shoot people. God, people are so weak minded. You quote Thomas Jefferson like his word is God. Look buddy, the opinion of a man who owned slaves and had affairs with them has lost a bit of its value in a society that has no slaves and looks down at affairs. While I don't agree that the right (more like a privilege) to bear arms is outdated, you go around acting like everything the constitution says is correct and perfect. Ever heard of Amendments? I'm sure you have, seeing as you're defending one. You see, these are made by people who see something WRONG (yes, wrong) with the constitution and seek to change it. You are too funny. You go on and continue to worship a pedafile Michael Jackson and I'll let Thomas Jefferson be my mentor. You don't change the Constitution AT ALL. It's like changing the Bible. It's the reason our country is great. Wow....This country is sooooo f'd it's not even funny.

Just because I want to own a gun and be free doesn't mean I will shoot people. God, people are so weak minded. :lol Way to go around making unjustified assumptions about where I was born or how educated I am on this history of the United States. I'm actually a third generation American and I know a lot about the country's history. That doesn't mean I have to agree with everything written in a document created over 220 years ago. The constitution is one of the most brilliantly designed works in world history, but it is my opinion that there are some amendments to it that are outdated, such as the second and third. But I forgot you're the guy who thinks Obama is bringing back slavery in the year 2012. I think you belong in a mental hospital, but at least you're admitting your own craziness. No. I was trying to educate you on the reason our Constitution allowed us "to bear arms". It is so that the government will not become too powerful.....the same reason Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, and JFK all tried to rid us of a Centralized Bank and the Federal Reserve so that the Government or a separate corporate will never control us....oops too late!

  13. Bush had Czars as well. It's just a title... You seem to think the American government is stupid half the time, and so ingenious that only a select few can see through their motives the other half of the times. Pick one. If Obama would be stupid enough to bring a Russian Czar-like administrator to the government, don't you think he'd call it something other than a Czar..? While I do agree that the role they play is rather intrusive and not needed, there's no way someone can possibly think that we're turning America into Russia of the 1500-1700's... Sure, I believe that. People are quick to say, "OMG you're crazy if you think we are Russia or heading for slavery". The government is doing it in a subtle way but more people are waking up, writing books like Glenn Beck and Ron Paul, and Obama's approval rating drops every single day.

  15. OH NO, JEWS!!!! I see your point now WMM! How have I been so blind! JEWS!!!!!! Once again, you aren't intelligent enough to answer questions. Explain why he's the 1st President to take over everything and have 33 Czars. Why is has he spent more money than 43 previous Presidents combined during a recession, deflating the US dollar to an all time low? Once again, you have no answers to any questions. I'm not surprised.
  16. There is a huge red flag here. Ryan has to be seriously used goods here. At least Donnolly was performing in AAA. To just release this future all star, something isn't right. I think we have enough options without him. Future All-Star? He's already been there twice. Sorry, I meant past all star. Either way, we can do better than Ryan.
  17. Once again Marlin fans OVER RATING Jeremy Hermida. He isn't even worth Matt Capps now! You guys have no realistic sense of trade value for a corner outfielder who can NOT drive in runs. Hermida is a #4 outfielder and isn't worth even a low rate closer- hate to tell you "I told you so". When hermida was drafted I cursed the front office for taken him over kamir at the time they stated it was about money but in the end they both signed for about the same, now years later we all know they made a big mistake I always enjoy when Teal Shadow makes an appearance. One of the only fans who thinks logical and his posts have substance unlike Rab and Erick.
  18. Do you read? Yes, I read the idiotic Jeremy Hermida posts every single day. The fans who say he's God and he's only 25. I also read the people above who say "Woooo Thank God we didn't trade a 1.5 million dollar corner outfielder who sucks at offense and defense for a decent closer". Why woouldn't you trade him now??? Cut ties already for anything....no maybe you're right. We should just hold onto him and trade him next year for a Jake Smolinski prospect.
  19. Great to see John Raynor heat up over the past 3 games (3-4), (2-5), and (2-5). 7 for his last 14 in total. Contrary to many people on this board, I believe Raynor can really help a major league team with his speed and defense. He's an average defender at best. Really? Because I've actually seen him play and his 15 outfield assists in 2007, his 11 outfield assists in 2008, and his range would prove you are wrong. You can't just say he's average with nothing to backup. Is this a guess or have you actually been to more than 10 plus games to watch him make diving catches like I have? Last season he batted .356 (53-for-149) against left-handed pitchers and .290 (88-for-303) vs. righties. ... Was named a Southern League midseason and postseason All-Star. I think he would do fine in our lineup with Cogs batting 2nd and Hermida gone. Even if not a starter, I think he's much better than DeAza off the bench. This season in steals he is 11 of his last 13. And anyone with a career success rate of 83% (134 steals/27 caught) would be an asset to a ball club. Think of a better hitting/defender/and more intelligent base runner than Bonifacio.
  20. Anybody else SICK of hearing about Michael Jackson? He hadn't been on the news in five years and now its been nonstop for 8 days. He's dead, now move on. Or is he? :whistle I dont think he's dead, we never saw him in his coffin, and some things looked acted. How do we know if MJ wasnt it trouble again..(debt, and so forth) and decided to go to south America with a face transplant, people have done that before, one of his brothers said, ''maybe they will leave you alone now'' hmmm, that might be a clue word to people that He's still alive. :whistle Stop guys!!!! You 2 are way too logical for people on this board because you don't go along with the corrupt mainstream media. Some people on here may call you crazy or conspiracy theorists for actually thinking on your own instead of letting others think for you. :notworthy
  21. LeBron will never be MJ. MJ got away with alot but because he deserved it and earned it. He wasn't the "witness" or "chosen one". LeBron just lowers his head and runs into people.
  22. There is a huge red flag here. Ryan has to be seriously used goods here. At least Donnolly was performing in AAA. To just release this future all star, something isn't right. I think we have enough options without him.

  24. HERE IS A LIST of Obama’s leading ‘czars,’ (all Zionist Jews save one), and their Zionist agenda to install a Zionist inspired socialist system in America’s government: Economic Czar - Admin Summers. Director of Obama’s National Economic Council. A Zionist Jew, Summers served as President of Harvard University from 2001 to 2006. In a recent article: Is Admin Summers Taking Kickbacks From the Banks He’s Bailing Out, Summers is exposed as acting in his own interests and not America’s in his role as Obama’s economic ‘czar.’ On June 12, 2009, Summers addressed the Zionist-led Council on Foreign Relations, defending his policies against the accusation of “backdoor socialism. Regulatory Czar - Cass Sunstein. Director of Obama’s Office of Regulatory Affairs. A Zionist Jew, Sunstein joined the faculty of the Zionist-run Harvard Law School and began serving as the director of its Program on Risk Regulation. A leading architect of the Cyber Security Act of 2009, now before Congress, Sunstein stated that the Internet is a “threat to democracy. Indeed, our last bastion of freedom, the Internet, may soon be under the dictatorial control of this Zionist Jew, Sunstein. Pay Czar - Kenneth Feinberg. Appointed by Obama to “regulate the pay for over 175 US corporate executives. Feinberg, a Zionist Jew and Washington lawyer, worked for President Bush to prevent lawsuits against the US by the families of victims of the alleged 9-11 terrorist attacks, thus assisting in the Zionist cover-up of 9-11’s “inside job. Guantanamo/Military Jails Czar - Daniel Fried. Appointed by Obama to plead “individual war on terror detainee cases while ostensibly working to close Guantanamo Bay’s US torture & detention camp. A Zionist Jew and Clinton retread, Fried is currently the State Department’s Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasian Affairs, responsible for the division that handles NATO enlargement and coordination with the European Union on the war on terror. Acting on behalf of the US State Department, this Zionist Jew, Fried, opposed Congress’ Armenian Genocide Resolution. Fried stated that recognizing the 1915 Armenian genocide by Muslim Turks, (plotted by Zionist Jews), would “damage US interests. As Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs during the Clinton administration, this Zionist Jew, Fried, supported the bombing of Christian Serbs during the Kosovo crisis in 1999. Car Czar - Steven Rattner. Director of Obama’s Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry. Rattner is a Zionist Jew and former executive with three Jewish banks: Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and Lazard Freres. Rattner, who reported his overall networth of between $188 million and $608 million, enjoys a close friendship with New York Times owner, Arthur Sulzberger, NY Governor financial magnate, Michael Bloomberg. How then could Rattner ever act on behalf of America’s interests and the common Gentile laborer with his intimate Zionist-Jewish ties? How then could Rattner, with his millions of Zionist-earned dollars, ever relate to the Gentile common laborer who has lost his UAW health-care benefits? Border Czar - Alan Bersin. Director of Obama’s Special Representative For Border Affairs. Raised as a Talmudic Jew, Bersin’s appointment brings yet another Jew to America’s Department of Homeland Security, of which, Bersin is now a Zionist insider by serving as Assistant Secretary for International Affairs. Climate Czar - Todd Stern. Named by Obama as Envoy for Climate Change. Stern is a Zionist Jew and longtime friend and advisor to both Hillary and former President Bill Clinton. Stern, a Clinton retread, served as his staff secretary. Currently, Stern is a senior fellow at the Zionist “think tank, Center for American Progress, funded & staffed by Zionist Jews. Stern promotes the Center’s Zionist ideology of perpetual war for perpetual peace in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Middle East, all in the name of “US security. Global Warming Czar - Carol Browner. Appointed by Obama as Energy Coordinator. Browner, yet another Clinton retread as administrator of the EPA, was listed until recently as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group, Socialist International, that advocates “global governance. The Washington Times reported that Browner’s name was listed on the member’s Web page for Socialist International. But Browner, not wishing to prompt objections to her White House appointment due to her socialist ideology, asked the organization to remove her name and biography from their site. Just trying to educate some of you......
  25. Tsar or czar[1] (Bulgarian цар, Russian: царь (help·info), Ukrainian: цар, in Serbian: цар / car, in scientific transliteration respectively car' and car), occasionally spelled csar or tzar in English, is a Slavic term designating certain monarchs. Originally, the title Czar (derived from Caesar) meant Emperor in the European medieval sense of the term, that is, a ruler who claims the same rank as a Roman emperor, with the approval of another emperor or a supreme ecclesiastical official (the Pope or the Ecumenical Patriarch). Occasionally, the word could be used to designate other, non-Christian, supreme rulers. In Russia and Bulgaria the imperial connotations of the term were blurred with time and, by the 19th century, it had come to be viewed as an equivalent of King.[2][3] "Tsar" was the official title of the supreme ruler in the following states: Bulgaria in 913–1018, in 1185–1422 and in 1908–1946 Serbia in 1346–1371 Russia from about 1547 until 1721 (replaced in 1721 by imperator, but remained in common usage until 1917). Like many lofty titles, e.g. Mogul, Tsar or Czar has been used as a metaphor for positions of high authority, in English since 1866 (referring to U.S. President Andrew Johnson), with a connotation of dictatorial powers and style, fitting since "Autocrat" was an official title of the Russian Emperor (informally referred to as 'the Tsar'). Similarly, Speaker of the House Thomas Brackett Reed was called "Czar Reed" for his dictatorial control of the House of Representatives in the 1880s and 1890s. In the United States the title "czar" is an informal term for certain high-level officials, such as the "drug czar" for the head of the Drug Enforcement Administration, "terrorism czar" for a Presidential advisor on terrorism policy, "cybersecurity czar" for the highest-ranking Department of Homeland Security official on computer security and information security policy, and "war czar" to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. from the Boston Herald: Do you know how many czars have been appointed by the Obama administration? 33 Congressional Democrats want another one to bring the grand total to 34. This new czar would oversee health insurance. According to the AP the responsibilities for this new czar would include “determining who qualifies for federal subsidies to help buy coverage, setting standards for handling grievances and appeals for claims denied, determining plan benefits for each year, policing insurance marketing campaigns, and enforcing a requirement that the insurers spend on medical care at least 85% of what they collect in premiums. Here is a list of Obama’s current and prospective Czar positions: 1. Technology Czar: Aneesh Chopra. 2. Drug Czar: Gil Kerlikowske. 3. Copyright Czar: Not appointed yet. 4. Energy Czar: Carol M. Browner. 5. Car Czar: Ed Montgomery. 6. Terrorism/WMD Czar: Gary Samore. 7. Health Care Czar: Nancy-Ann DeParle. 8. Education Czar: Not appointed yet. 9. Economic Czar: Paul Volcker. 10. Mortgage Czar: Not appointed yet. 11. Urban Affairs/Housing Czar: Adolfo Carrion. 12. Guantanomo closure Czar: Danny Fried. 13. Great lakes Czar: Cameron Davis. 14. Stimulus accountability Czar: Earl Devaney. 15. Cyberspace Czar: Not appointed yet. 16. Border Czar: Alan Bersin (Former US attorney). 17. Intelligence Czar: Admiral Dennis Blair. 18. Regulatory Czar: Cass Sunstein. 19. Pay Czar: Kenneth Feinberg. 20. Iran Czar: Not appointed yet. 21. Tarp Czar: Herb Allison. 22. Middle-East peace Czar: George Mitchell. 23. Science Czar: John Holdren. 24. Green jobs Czar: Van Jones. 25. Afghanistan Czar: Richard Holbrooke. 26. Sudan Czar: J. Scott Gration. 27. Mideast policy Czar: Dennis Ross. 28. Information Czar: Vivek Kundra. 29. AIDS Czar: Jeffrey Crowley. 30. Faith-based Czar: Joshua Dubois. 31. Climate Czar: Todd Stern . With all the Czars that Mr. Obama has placed in his adminstration is similar to what the old USSR did. There are 3 definitions of a czar the first one is a an emperor or king; the former emperor of Russia; an autocratic ruler or leader; and the final one any person exercising great authority or power in a particular field. The thing that doesn't make sense is if he wants a open government like he said during the campaign why does he need czars? Did our founding fathers want people to have czars in Washington? No they didn't they wanted a system of checks and balances not people who weren't accountable. This is another sign of Obama trying to get rid of freedom and liberty. We have lost our system of checks and balances as Obama's approval rating dropped to another all time low July 8th. If this doesn't make some of you people sick then we're hopeless. Education czar? We already have a Secretary of Education!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh ya, these czars make $179,000 per year and have a staff of 10 people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! per the AP This is the worst government control we have seen since Hitler.
