The Air Up There

Preston Wilson once drilled my mom's boyfriend in the head with a foul ball liner.

Funniest. Thing. Ever.

I have a ball thrown to me by Manzy at BP.

I have one from Manzy that Pavano was warming up with.

I got a HR ball hit to RF during batting practice before Game 5 of the WS in 2003. There was this young kid with a NY Yankees jersey going after it as well. I got to it first, but couldn't keep it. I gave it to the kid, Yankee jersey and all.

It all worked out though. Beckett threw one into the stands about 5 minutes later that hit me in the chest.

I caught my first foul ball last season against the Phillies in Brad Penny's last start as a Marlin (off of Jim Thome, so I almost threw the ball back, lol).

I've gotten a bunch of BP home-run balls from right field (cleaned up in 2003 with the Rockies having Helton and Walker pepper the area).

I've been on FSN during a game at Shea (because I was the only guy with a Pudge (ugh) jersey on in 2003).

And my younger brother got a ball thrown to him by Schilling last year.
