also, I'm imagining the #s Cabrera is going to put up with Piere and Castillo in front of him and Delgado and Lowell behind. Wow

I'm not so sure Bonds will win it, even if he hits .370 and breaks the home run record the writers may not be so sympathetic to the fact that he used steroids. He'll be right up there, but I don't think he will win the NL MVP.

That's a good point, if Bonds doesn't have a head and shoulders year above everyone else, Pujols will probably win it.
