Question about MLB Extra Innings and the Marlins!

Featured Replies

I have a friend who doesnt have local stations but has direct t.v and he lives in Palm Beach County. He wants to watch the Marlins so he wanted to get MLB Extra Innings this season.

Will it black out all the games or just certain ones?

I remember someone saying that it will black out alot of the games that the local stations carry :confused

All PAX/FSN Marlins games are blacked out on MLB Extra Innings for everyone that lives in Marlins territory. If your friend doesn't get PAX or FSN, then he/she needs to call DirecTV and get them added to their plan.

I live in Baltimore and when the Marlins games are broadcasted locally (in Florida) on PAX they are either shown through the opposing team's feed or not at all.

I'm usually able to get at least 4-5 games a week this way. I watch the others on my computer on MLB TV.

That's because you don't live in Marlins territory. Anyone in Marlins territory such as Palm Beach County will have ALL Marlins games shown on MLB Extra Innings blacked out.
