March 3, 200521 yr Its a Municipal/Special Election, most notably over the issue of slots at the dog tracks. You can vote early in Broward here: link Or early in Dade here: link Specific Ballot Language: Shall slot machines be allowed in authorized pari-mutuel facilities in Miami-Dade County, with any taxes that the Florida legislature may impose on slot machine revenues being spent to supplement public education funding statewide as required by law? Vote yes or no.
March 4, 200521 yr Does anyone even know anything about any of the candidates or know where to find information on them and their views? It seems very few information is available outside of the postcards and flyers that you receive in the mail from them saying "VOTE FOR ________" and that's it :banghead .
