March 15, 200521 yr I thought Jake would be the LAST person to show up on WWE. I'm surprised they gave him a live mic. I was hoping for a DDT (or at least a snake appearance), but his cameo was good enough. I'm surprised they put Orton in a position where he may have seemed heelish (being Jake's home-state and legend= big face usually). I knew Jake looked bad (see "Beyond the Mat") but you could barely understand what he was saying.... Man, they just refuse to put Christian over, even in a 2 on 1 situation....I thought the Shelton/Edge match was VERY good, especially one sequence toward the end (when Shelton hopped up on the top rope after a feigned splash)....The f***in' Rockers man. 'Nuff said, although I thought they would've saved Marty's return for Smackdown!, as even many people here were excited about seeing him for the first time in years.... A good Benoit/Trips match, but not ME? I guess I understood after the ME angle they ran tonight....ANOTHER great WM movie spoof. And Linda McMahon? Priceless....Well, Batista/Snitsky wasn't embarrassing. Though JR having to do the hype for next week twice was.
March 15, 200521 yr they brought the rockers back? were they wearin that neon s***? next thing you know koko b ware will return.
March 15, 200521 yr Author they brought the rockers back? were they wearin that neon s***? 710606[/snapback] It was billed as "one night only." No neon, but Marty was still wearing the tassels.
March 15, 200521 yr I also agree that this was a great show and brought back some fun memories. I was just talking about Roberts the other night and where he was now, he really didnt look so good but atleast he didnt come out drunk. Thoses Austin and Hogan packages were great, more memories. The Rockers back together was amazing, they didnt seem to miss a beat. As for Christian I am hoping that they will keep having him job up until Mania and then win the ladder match (hopefully). The matches were all great, and Batista and Snitsky wasnt that bad. The worst part of the night was damn Christy as usual, I really hope that her and Trish dont get anywhere close to 10 minutes at Mania they are just taking time away from other quality matches.
