The worst kept secret in the Miami sports market has now been revealed to Dolphin fans everywhere. 790 THE TICKET will be the new official home of the Miami Dolphins in the south Florida area, taking the duties of broadcasting Dolphin games away from Sportsradio 560 WQAM. The initial deal will run through at least the 2006 season.

 

The official announcement was made shortly after 8 am EST on 790 THE TICKET today by Joe Rose and Dolphins Enterprises President Joe Bailey. Rose brought up the topic of the next broadcast booth for the Dolphins during his talk show, and said that the chances of either Howard David or Jim Mandich calling the games this coming season will be unlikely. When word arrives about the next Dolphins broadcast booth, Finheaven and Co. will spread the news.
