Surgery for Hutchinson: Minor league pitcher Trevor Hutchinson, who was assigned to minor league camp on March 11, underwent right shoulder surgery Tuesday.

 

The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala.

 

Hutchinson was a candidate to open the season at Triple-A Albuquerque. He experienced a tired shoulder late last season, when he was at Double-A Carolina.
