Can't exchange season tix this season?

Featured Replies

Did you ask them about your Marlins Account Manager?

There is supposed to be a new feature that allows you to sell your tickets on-line to other fans. I'm not sure when it is going to be activated.

They gave me vouchers? I'm assuming its for games that I can't attend? Now I'm confused??

Do you have set seats, or do you have a Flex Plan?

If you have a Flex plan, you in essence bought 41 tickets (or 81, not sure what you're plan is good for). They aren't for a set day, it's your job to exchange them for the game and seat in your section later on. It's like buying wholesale, you buy the 41 tickets at the same time guaranteeing the Marlins that revenue, and in return you get a discount. However, if you have set seats and you have a handful of vouchers, that's just a bonus the Marlins included for any game you might want to invite more friends than usual or for a game you might not have tickets to already if you don't have a full season plan. Consider them tickets on the house from the organization.

That's right. Plus the Marlins are using an online system run by Ticketmaster that a lot of teams are using these days called Account Manager. It allows you to place tickets for games you can't use for sale on the site at face value. The buyer gets your seat location e-mailed to them and you get a credit placed in your account. Through the system you can also forward your tickets to someone through e-mail if you cannot make it to the game, or e-mail them to yourself if you leave the tickets at home and are going to the game straight from work or something.

I don?t think this system is in place, and if it is, I can't find it.

What happens if your tickets were deleted? I had the printable version and my tix got deleted when we had the cleanup for the comp.....

You're about as screwed as you can get. Best bet is to email or call Ticketmaster, and the Marlins if Ticketmaster can't come through. But other than that, I don't see what you can do. It's the same premise as if you bought paper tickets and lost them.

Last year I accidentally left my tickets at home for one of the games and didn't realize it until I was at the game pulled out my wallet to get my tickets and they weren't there. I went into Gate G and one of the season ticket reps there game me this pinkish/yellow pass with my seat location and everything on it and those served as my actual tickets for that day.

The only way they'll give you one of the special passes is if you can prove that you actually had tickets for that game, so you basically just tell them that you've got the (insert ticket plan here) and they'll go in the back to verify you actually had tickets for this game and then they'll write you the pass. If you've got a flex plan where you exchanged vouchers yourself you have no way of proving which games you chose, so they won't write you one of the passes. Last year with the flex plan you chose your games through a rep instead of having vouchers, so had the games you chose on file, but not this year.
