April 16, 200519 yr comment_474782 over $1000 for that 2/2 card.... that is a lot more than the book value I think... but sweet deal for the seller
April 16, 200519 yr comment_474783 It's rare and it's numbered to Jeter's jersey number, so that makes it valuable. Price is a bit steep, but can't say it's obscene considering the 1/1 cards pretty much are worth whatever someone is willing to pay...
April 16, 200519 yr comment_474784 That is true... I much rather get Jeter's autograph in person than buy it for over $1,000..... plus... you can get 2 nice Jeter pieces by steiner for $1000

These days, companies will number a card 1/1 and then reprint the same card with a slightly different color or slightly different foil and call that one a 1/1 as well. Upper Deck is notorious for doing this, this is why UD 1/1 cards tend to have a lower book value than Topps and 1/1's from other companies.
