Who should I start at 1B on a regular basis?

Casey

Trade Hillenbrand now while his ceiling is high on shore up a weakness.

I agree with Juanky...use Hillenbrand to fill a hole, and start Casey.

Casey may not have a year similar to his 2004 numbers, but he's a good hitter on a good hitting team that plays in a bam-box. Shea's an agressive hitter, but he's always prone to streaks...see if you can get someone to over value him...

It's just so hard to make room when you've got Vinny Castilla, Troy Glaus, Sean Casey, and Shea Hillenbrand.

Glaus has been on my bench since Vinny got hot, and then i've had Casey and Hillenbrand sharing duties at 1st and utility with Glaus only getting into the game when one of the above 3 players' teams has an off day.

Good plan?

I'd love to trade one of them for more pitching, but people in my league are horrible with trades, either they don't respond to a trade or if they do accept it, everyone in the league votes to veto it.

You've gotta find a way to start Glaus, but if no one's doing the trades, just ride the hot bats and look where they're playing for the week trying to give guys with trips to Colorado, Philly, Cincy, etc the bulk of the playing time...
