Conine to start?

Conine should start today over Encarnacion because he has killed Kennedy and of course is awesome in Coors field. Encarnacion is actually horrible in Colorado which cannot be said for many. Win win situation here. :mischief2

In the paper this morning they said that he is more than likely starting today. Besides his amazing numbers at Coors he is also like 9 for 13 agaisnt Kennedy, so expect to see the Big Dog in action tonight.

Conine might be better then Encarnacion in Coors...but Enc. is the better player, and for that I wouldn't be surprised If he started again tommorow.

Why, if we're winning, do we need to tinker with the lineup?

 

I can see the emotional aspect to all of this, I know none of you would give three shits if Enc was the one on bench and Conine was playing, but the team is winning. This lineup is putting up runs seemingly at will 5 times a week. Why change it? Honestly, why? For fun?

Because Conine's stats vs. Joe Kennedy are pretty darn good:

Today is the only day there is a legit reason.

 

Every other day it's start Conine, start Conine, I hate Bill Robinson, start Conine. Why? For who? The biggest run producer on the team? For the cleanup hitter? Who sits for him, honestly.

 

Why not save Conine until a position he can play has a slumping player. He hasn't played third consistently in a decade.

Jeff Conine deserves some playing time. He has not been playing that much this season. Jeff has a killer avergae vs. Kennedy and at Coors Field. Niner should get the start tonight!

The problem is for as well as enc is doing, RF is a platoon. Niner is too good to rot on the bench . We play the guy who gives us the best chance of winning and tonight it just so happens its niner. In fact niners new nickname should be Lee Harvey Oswald b/c conine is going to kill Kennedy

To tinker is the Sunday special. To tinker is to start Mordecai and Harris or give Weathers a start. This is a move to help the team. History tells us Jeff gives the Marlins a better chance to win tonight. And Juan is the obvious choice to sit a game for a number of reasons.
