What did you guys think? Also, did you read the book before going?

 

I personally liked the book more than the movie, and noticed some big story changes, but the movie itself was well done and it was both funny and entertaining. Plus, whomever that girl is who played Trillian was a very nice touch.

The movie was prettygood although the story was a lot different than the book. A lot of the awesome British humor was removed though.

If you understand who the Vogons, the President of the Galaxy, and everyone else is making fun of, then you'll probably like the movie. However if you don't do well with figuring out who is being insulted, you probably won't enjoy it.

 

Easiest bet is to read the book, it's a very quick read. Took me a few hours.

I hadn't read the book and saw the movie two nights in a row. Loved it.

find a short sample of it online or read a tiny bit of it in a bookstore. you'll know right away whether it's your cup of tea or not. I loved them personally.

I really liked the movie. ALthough I was a bit surprised with that big addition to the story in the middle of the film. It was all good, though.

Maybe I'll check it out.
