Posted May 3, 200520 yr I wasn't sure where to post this. Im not sure if this is the right spot. This is what it says... C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search. If someone can please help me get rid of this error message I'd appreciate it. Thank You.
May 3, 200520 yr It says it when the Windows starts up? It could be a program that is in your start up menu and can't find the file to start it.

May 3, 200520 yr Well it could be spyware, but before that, check to see if its a program that can't find the right file. Go to Run->Type in MSConfig and the tabs look up Startup. Now see if you can find the name of the file that keeps coming up and if you do, uncheck it and restart your computer. If thats not it, look up programs like Spyware Doctor and Microsoft Antispyware. Those are two I can highly recommend.
May 4, 200520 yr Also, try to uncheck everything that you absolutley do not need. If its not an anti virus program, it doesn't need to start with your PC, it just slows it down. Also, make sure your windows messanger if off. To make sure go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools then select services, scroll down to "messanger" and diable it completley. If you ever get weird pop us on your PC, this eliminates it.
