It could be debated that sign is the truth rather than propaganda...

well, what i mean to say is, i think its a stretch to write off an entire teams' success to steroids because a couple guys on the team doped. we don't know enough of what other teams did, and it's not fair to the players who didn't dope besides.

 

of course the individual achievements of players who doped we can rightly question, but when comparing two teams who use dozens of players over the course of a season, its much more difficult to make a fair comparison.

 

incidentally, dan lebatard loves to guilt-trip fla. fans about this, suggesting that the fact that pudge lost a ton of weight this offseason means our 2003 title was tainted, and furthermore that it's hypocritical of marlins fans to come down harshly on steroids (never mind that our postseason opponents included jason giambi, barry bonds, and one can only wonder who else).
