Saw it on espn, but it was for insiders only, so I couldn't read the article.

Anybody know anything about that? Getting that guy would most likely mean parting with somebody from our rotation... Well, maybe. Anyway, I'd rather stick with Cabs and sink or swim with our own boys.

Reports have been appearing in the Miami Herald that we are interested, but haven't presented the Yankees with an acceptable offer yet.

Saw somewhere on ESPN that Yankees were intrested in Vladdy Nunez. Can't beleive it's true, but if it is.... What a bunch of suckers.... Maybe a throw in?

what, you don't think they're happy with Benitez after another blown game? :lol

sure George, give Nunez a try.

after seeing mike williams and benitez in action with their new teams, the urbina move is looking sweeter and sweeter.

Look, the Yankees seem to be interested in EVERY player that becomes available, from what I've read in the last 5-6 years. Brian Cashman's job is riding on them winning the series this year, even though I know they won't. They've traded for Dan Miceli, Armando Benitez, Jesse Orosco, and several other relieves since the season began. Clearly, they have less confidence in their 'pen then we do with ours.
