Loria looks very relaxed in that picture.

Believe it or not, Loria actually stood up and yelled at the umpire when McKeon was on his way to the dugout.

Some pictures from the LA-SF game at SBC Park I went to last night. The stadium is absolutely beautiful. I hope that when the time comes for Miami to get a baseball park, it really takes note of how well SBC was designed. But they should disregard the little fact that it was funded privately.

BTW, can you tell my seats weren't as good as those at Dol Stadium? :p

Nice pictures, what lens did you use? What settings?

I have a digital Rebel w/Canon 100-300 f/4.5-5.6 USM, that I take to the games. My pictures don't look that good. :(

Wow. Excellent shots! Thanks.

We're going to visit PNC Park on our baseball road trip this summer. :thumbup

Can't wait.

I use a 70-200mm 2.8l

You definitely have more reach on the long end of the lens but the high aperture really hurts you for sports since you can't increase the shutter as much.

Try shooting at day games where the light will really help out. For night games I shoot at ISO1600, 600 f/2.8. During day games I can do ISO200, 2500 f/2.8 and the pics become a lot sharper.

Another factor is where you're seats are at. I'm right behind Lowell so its really close to the action without being on the field level.
