The kids have had fun as well as the parents. Our team slogan was "The fish are biting." We are having shirts made to celebrate the championship season. Teal with white lettering.

Aww.. Thats cute :thumbup

Fishand grits.....that's cute. As much fun as T-Ball was, it only gets better as your child gets older. Coach pitch and the first year or 2 of regular little league are the best..IMHO. I was an assistant coach on many teams, including being the coach who pitched in coach pitch. It was great fun. Even the time when I accidently beaned a little girl on our team. It took half the season to get this girl to bat. She was afraid of being hit by the ball. After 10 games she finally got up the nerve, then in her third at bat I bounced one right off the top of her helmet. It didn't hurt. She laughed.

so are u on the team, or are u a parent of a kid on it? i wish my tball team would of done that

t-ball kids don't know what omen means

And my kid's team (LL) ousted the Marlins from the playoffs last night in the rain.

Coaching kids is a terrific experience. It's a great way to influence not only your own kid(s) but others as well and any time they are playing baseball means they aren't spending time going brain dead in front of their Playstation.

Congrats to you and your kid. :thumbup

I volunteered as an assistant last year for my league's t-ball Pirates. Those kids made my day every time. From the kid who sat in the outfield and picked the grass to the guy that hit the ball soft and sprinted around the bases we had a blast.

I actually looked forward to my son's games a lot more than any Marlins game. Those that are not parents don't understand, but I think I'd even trade a World Series for another year of those games. I think I'll have another child....be back in an hour.....make that 20 minutes....game's on at 7.
