I really thought we were going to hire Flip after JW stepped down.

If its true, sounds like JW wanted to hire Musselman or PJC and upper managment wanted to go with Hill, possibly being the cause of JW leaving. Its simply a stupid move. Supposedly a lot of local fans want Hill because they think he was the primary architect of the earlier success. They just dont know.

why would you hand the job back to someone who hasnt won since the early 90s and then only cause he had a young shaq where you could have a new coach every night and still make the playoffs.

So freaking stupid.

I actually like Brian Hill. My choices would have been in this order:

 

1) Musselman

2) Hill

3) Flip

the magic just lost another 1,500 fans
