Posted May 30, 200519 yr Jo-Willy now leads the PCL with 15 bombs and his slugging percentage is a girrrrthy .735. The 26-year-old slugger currently ranks 3rd in the PCL in runs scored (40) and is tied for 3rd in RBIs (40). His average has shot up to .324. Burn, baby, burn. :thumbup

May 30, 200519 yr We need to find a spot for this guy. Those stats aren't illusion. He's absolutly crushing righthanders down there. He's only like 7 for 36 against southpaws.
May 30, 200519 yr too bad, Jack is a Trust the Veteran type of guy. The only way I see this guy getting meaningful PT in the big show is for JP to continue to stink, and Lowell to have some kind of injury
May 30, 200519 yr John Sickels on The Hammer: Willingham has heated up after a slow start, currently hitting .324/.457/.735. He has 15 home runs, 29 walks, and 31 strikeouts. Like Keppinger, it looks to me like Willingham is ready for the Majors, and is just waiting for a roster spot to clear up. His power and patience are impressive, and while I think he's more of a .250 hitter than a .300 hitter in the Show, it will be a loud .250. He just needs the at-bats. When/if he gets it, I can't say. That would likely depend on injuries, the need for an extra bat, or a trade for Florida

Everything down to how hard a ball has been hit to where it landed. If only I could find a way to parse them. He's also 0 for 3 with 2 BB and 2 K while DHing or coming off the bench.
