It doesnt absolve anything, you could forseeably be on roids, youd just have to be completely unaware of the consequences. Its hard to believe that an athlete who has beaten cancer would take a chance by going on roids. Sue its a possibility, but at this level, with so many knowledgeable people around you, Id think its highly unlikely.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but that's just blind homerism.

you said it yourself, you use to give him the benefit of the doubt

im not ruling it out, I would just think its unlikely considering his circumstances. Im not saying im 100% sure he wasnt on them, but I dont think its likely.

Fair enough.

I now think it is incredibly likely that he did something supplement related.

one thing I know, we gave a long term deal to the wrong player

Who would you have preferred?

Pudge is in the same supplement camp as Lowell, and Delgado is doing a good enough job to not make me regret the DLee thing (not to mention, I doubt Lee puts up numbers like that at the Pro).

While Pudge is a great player and probably would help alot right now with clubhouse chemistry (then again, so would Mike Redmond), one can't give a good or bad verdict on the call to let him walk until his contract is outlived. We didn't sign him because of the 3rd and most notably 4th year, not because of the 1st and 2nd.

you are right, I'm just mad that Lowell is underperforming his contract for the 2nd straight year. On top of that, he whinned last year about not having Pudge and Lee on the team. And who knows if he is the anon. player talking crap to the media

Can't fault you on that one, and there is no doubt he is the anonymous source.

I mean the homers are now sac flies and the doubles are weak hit balls to the left side of the infield

The Marlins need to pick someone up that will bring the "fun" back into the game.

i rather have OBP, and RBi's, then fun can come with it
