June 13, 200519 yr Great idea by the Brewers. See what you have in him. His first option year was already kicked in. This only slightly harms Overbay's trade value, if a firstbaseman - a doubles-hitting firstbaseman - has any in the mid-year market.
June 13, 200519 yr Fielder's been very meh in AAA. I don't get why you'd bring up a top prospect who's not performing up to his potential and proceed to send him down when his DH stint it up. I don't get moving Overbay this year let alone sending your top prospect down while waiting for him to be moved.

This move got me thinking. Why couldn't we do the same with Willingham for our upcoming series' against Anaheim and Tampa Bay? He'd provide a huge boost to the offense.
