Over the last few years there have been several odd game controllers coming out of Japan and almost all of them are akward to use. From pistols for an RPG to a sword with a d-pad, these are some of the oddest controllers ever made.

 

Final Fantasy X-2 Tiny Bee Controller

 

 

 

Using the Final Fantasy X-2 Yuna's Tiny Bee gun controller, the two guns can assume all the functions of the Dual Shock 2 controller, think of the left gun as the left half of the controller and the right gun as the right half. When playing the game, you have to hold the two guns on your hand. You can pull the triggers on both guns and see Yuna fires her guns at the enemies during battles. Note that the Tiny Bee is not compatible with the GunCon2 controller. (it is not a light gun)

 

 

Onimusha 3 Soul Wireless Controller

 

 

 

 

 

The Soul Controller is a wireless Dualshock2 compatible controller operating on 3 batteries which last for approximately 30 hours of gameplay. There are multiple channels available, allowing for up to 8 controllers to be used at once. The soul Controller which measures an amazing 38" in total length and is designed like an ebon ceremonial tachi sword of olden times with ornate handle and gold accents. A black wooden stand is also included for display purposes.

 

 

Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Controller

The attention to detail goes as far as having gory blood marks on the blade. When not chopping Zombies into pieces, the Resident Evil 4 Controller can rest on its stylish stand, on top on your TV, well at sight for the bill collectors knocking at your door. Very impressive in size, it will bring you fear and respect at the same time, yet light and ergonomic, it stays comfortable and does not affect gameplay at all. Holding it in your hands for sure makes you feel like a man; now who said the Cube was for kids?
