Jeremy Hermida report

Great article. I can't wait to see Hermida up with the club, possibly as early as September. He is my favorite player in the Marlins system and has been since he was at Greensboro. If he can develop into another Yaz, that will be amazing.

An excellent read, does anyone think that moving to AAA will help this kid improve, the pitching/altitude in the PCL may be detrimental

AAA isn't really where you learn. AA is the place for learning.

AAA would be for him to see pitchers who are borderline major leaguers.

no, the age of 5 is the place for learning...to play..

He'd probably see breaking balls - although not as blistering as the top AA guys - more consistently. Depends on if they need him this year. If not, a trial at AAA couldn't hurt.
