Both Chris Resop and Randy Messenger pitched well. In fact they where the best pitchers we threw out there today. I continue to be impress by both. Chris Agula got atleast one at-bat I got a chance to see what he looked liked again and he got a hit.

 

Finally and hopefully this performance sent a message to the FO that we need to be sellers and not wait until the last minute. Atleast I don't think they will pull of a stupid trade like Bazardo and Josh Johnson for Fuentes anymore which will hurt our future.

I think Messenger is steping up to keep up with Resop.

Chris threw the best I've ever seen him today.....and believe me I have seen hundreds of games of his....Messenger has always been a good pitcher and if they both feed off of each other they will only get together....competition is good for the soul....

I'm going to respectfully disagree and say that I found his stuff much nastier and livelier against the Brewers, but he did pitch well today.

as far as a pressure situation is concerned this was by far his best outing....his stuff was pretty darn good today...he needs to be working on the inside a bit more....to keep those hitters away from his plate.
