He had elbow surgery in March and will hopefully be ready to play again by next spring training. He's a hard-thrower who is still transitioning from being a catcher when he came to college three years ago.

July 18, 200521 yr Yeah, I already heard he isn't coming out of school. Next year, we will need some power hitters drafted. Who were the last big hitters we drafted? Stokes and Hermida?
