I'm torn right now

I think 97. Our pitching is sometimes good and somtimes bad and the 97 Marlins has had way more experience.....

The only reason I put 2003 is because while 1997 had more depth, this year's team plays together and with alot more heart. The 97 team really didn't come together until the playoffs.

then i guess they picked the best time. they were in 1st place of the wildcard for most of the season, i would say september is really the time when they really made things seem special. they played with heart, those tight games against the Giants, game 3 against Cleveland and of course game 7, they were down 2-0 for most of the game.

 

rigth now i would say the 97 team, especially if the main pieces of the team play like they did in 98 for their respective teams

You can't measure it, but you know when a team has it and when they don't.

 

For something like this I always refer to a judge on a court case from a couple years ago on porn: "I can't define it, but I know what it is when I see it."

2003. Our infield is much better than in 1997, despite the lack of outfielders. The pitching is a close one. Willis and Redman could take on some of our older starters, but I don't know about Penny, Beckett, and Pavano.

i think this team would win a Game 7... Because Redman , Willis , beckett , and Penny are all pitching like never before

eh, i dunno, in 7 games we would probablly loose, but I dont think the 97 team would own the 03 team, it'd be competitive.............but who would luis play for? :blink: hehehe
