OnBoardTheDTrain35
Just heard Tom Verducci on Mike & The Mad Dog here in NY. Said the Marlin Clubhouse has tuned out and that McKeon will be fired soon...within a week or 2 and Jim Leyland or Jim Fregosi are the leading candidates. Not Joe Girardi..... He also said Juan Pierre would not be traded (as some yankee rumors have stated up here). And then about AJ, he said that the deal could still get done by before he even pitches tonight, and that the holdup is the 72 hour window to sign a contract. Verducci said AJ most likely would want to test free agency and wouldnt sign an extension in the offseason. There's the update!
Guest Moneyball
Fregosi has already been taken off the possible replacement's list. Delgado doesn't like him.
WildMarlinMan2003
I think it is safe to say that if/when McKeon gets fired....it's Leyland's job unless he doesn't want it.
BOTHFISHFAN
so what if Fregosi and delgado dont like each other...i think they can put aside there differences to win..winning is more important than bitterness, plus I dont think Delgado wlll hold a grudge, he plays ball the way its supposed to be

The only Rental deal i can see is with the White Sox.
