August 7, 200323 yr Im not sure if I heard correctly, but I believe they said that DW has never had a 1-2-3 first inning in any of his starts.
August 7, 200323 yr DW's ERA for the season in pitches 1-15 is 5.68, pitches 16-30 is 3.68, then 1.67 for the rest of the game. (stats from before tonights game)
August 7, 200323 yr when he gets ahead in the count he's been pretty deadly. getting that first pitch over for a strike makes a big difference (as it does with a lot of pitchers)
