August 3, 200521 yr Update: Josh Johnson hit a 2-run homer in the 2nd inning. :o Unfortunately, he also allowed 6 runs in 2 innings pitched, and is now out of the ballgame. The score is 6-5 Chattanooga in the 5th. My "Baby Marlin" Ross Wolf is on the mound now for the Mudcats.
August 3, 200521 yr Update: Mudcats catcher Jason Hill gets into an ugly argument with the umpire and gets tossed! Manager Gary Allenson is now getting physical. All hell's breaking loose out there... Allenson gets tossed as well... Wow.

Bass grounds into a DP; run scores. 8-7 Chattanooga, 2 outs; Nelson hits the next 2 batters with pitches to load 'em again! Still 2 outs; bases jammed with Mudcats. Frank Moore batting. SINGLE TO RIGHT... 2 RUNS SCORE!! Nelson blows the save -- Carolina leads it 9-8! Now 10-8 after Robert Andino's hit! What a bizarre game..!

August 3, 200521 yr yeah I walked away in the bottom of the 8th thinking they were done I come back to hear the game still going on about 30 minutes later and was shocked.
