Marlins Starters

Featured Replies

Since the doubleheader.

9 Games, 66IP, 7ER.

With starting pitching anywhere even close to that over the next month and a half, even mediocre hitting can take us to the wildcard at worst.

Biggest stretch of games starting the second week of September with 14 straight vs. Hou, Phil, Was.

Our starters can control the playoff race.

yahh its really been crazy, makes u think tho what couldve been if we could just get just a few more runs, if this team could average 4 runs a game we'd hardly lose it seems

66 innings pitched and 7 earned runs might be the best run of any starting staff in the majors this year, maybe besides the Marlins in April...

Who starts on Saturday?

Moehler

The veteran Moehler will make his 22nd start and 27th appearance of the season. Due to a recent off day, the Marlins pushed back Moehler a few days, keeping other pitchers on their regular five-day pattern. Moehler's last start was Aug. 11, when he was not involved in the decision against Arizona. He tossed two-thirds of an inning of relief on Tuesday in a loss to the Padres.

I hope my feeling is right but I have a feeling that the marlins good luck will have to catch up to Moel's soon enough....this will be his 22nd start and although he sould be like 12-4 instead of 6-9 he has pitched lights out for us this season
