I finally saw The Day The Earth Stood Still. It's an excellent film and I strongly suggest it to those of you who havent' seen it yet.

Are you effing kidding me? I worked at Blockbuster for two years, saw almost every movie in the store, love science fiction, and delved into the depths of the action/fantasy section...

 

And I think that's the only movie I didn't see, because some bugger customer told me it sucked.

 

Now I have to pay for it if I want to watch it.

I always wanted to see it, but no place carried it. I just happened to see it in Wal-Mart the other day and had to get it.

Great, great movie.

 

Loved it when I saw it as a kid and it's still relavent now.
