Posted August 29, 200519 yr Teal = home Black = away St. Louis - 3 Games Game 1- L Game 2 - W Game 3 - Mets - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Nationals - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Phillies - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Astros - 4 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Game 4 - Phillies - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Mets - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Braves - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Nationals - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Braves - 3 games Game 1 - Game 2 - Game 3 - Now, all these games are against contenders, of course. In my opinion, right now, the biggest series' are going to be against the Mets, Phillies, and Astros. Braves probably have the division locked yet again, and the Nationals seem to continue to be dropping. The next closest after the 4 NL East Teams and the Astros for the WC is the Brewers, who are six games back. We'll have AJ starting against the Cardinals to start it against Chris Carpenter in the opening game. Game 2 will be Morris and Valdez. Don't have info on game 3 yet, but we'll know. WE CAN DO THIS!! MARLINS IN 2005!!!
August 29, 200519 yr Every game from here on out is big. No ifs, ands or buts about it! Every game is going to matter in the Wild Card chase because the teams are so closely together in the standings and even the Braves with a 5 game lead is no where near a lock for the division (a losing streak or an extended winning streak by either the Fish or Phillies will determine that). So this will be a very exciting month for baseball, but its balls against the wall time for this team and its big from here on out!
August 29, 200519 yr Im still holding out hope for the division simpy because facing St Louis in the first round is a daunting task
