Posted August 31, 200519 yr MAKING MOVES After Tuesday's game the Marlins optioned right-hander Chris Resop back to Double A Carolina, opening an roster spot for a transaction manager Jack McKeon said would be made today. For a player to be eligible for postseason play, he must be in the Marlins' system by midnight tonight. McKeon hintly strongly that the team was about to complete a trade for a position player. Interesting.... It'll be done no later than midnight tonight, if this is true.
