Posted September 7, 200519 yr Odds to win the 2005-2006 Heisman Trophy PreviewAll wagers have action. No Matt Leinhart (USC) 1/1 Reggie Bush (USC) 5/1 Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma) 11/1 Chris Leak (Florida) 10/1 Vince Young (Texas) 6/1 Ted Ginn Jr (Ohio State) 8/1 Chad Henne (Michigan) 18/1 Michael Hart (Michigan) 17/1 Drew Tate (Iowa) 15/1 Michael Bush (Louisville) 18/1 Brian Brohm (Louisville) 40/1 Tyler Palko (Pittsburgh) 50/1 Omar Jacobs (Bowling Green) 20/1 Charlie Whitehurst (Clemson) 60/1 Leon Washington (Florida State) 28/1 DeAngelo Williams (Memphis) 22/1 Laurence Maroney (Minnesota) 11/1 Sam Keller (Arizona State) 55/1 Field (Any Other Player) 10/1 Does anyone else think that Omar Jacobs is a steal at 20-1???
September 7, 200519 yr Bush is probably a better bet. 5:1 ain't bad and he's gonna win it I bet. Then again I'm not going to actually bet.
September 7, 200519 yr Hell yes! They are completely undervaluing him. Id say it should be(based on prior stats and projected stats) between AD and Omar Jacobs. Great seasons plus big names and big citys(and big schools) give notoriety and strength to Reggie Bush, Chris Leak, and Ted Ginn an excellent chance. While I think those three are all top quality guys and future NFL guys, AD and Jacobs statstically are above trhe rest bya mile, IMO.
September 7, 200519 yr Peterson certainly looked like a top Heisman candidate on Saturday. :plain Leinart's gonna win it again.
September 7, 200519 yr Oh, I wouldnt know I really wasnt paying attention to non-FIU games saturday. What were his final stats?; Either way, its a mere one game. At the very least hell earn a Heisman before he leavs.
