A whole new team

Featured Replies

Not sure if this will be moved but it does affect The Fish so here it is.

It's possible The Phils have a new infield.

Our star prospect Utley, A guy who I mentioned in the off season as a future star and trade bait, has been called up and tonight it starting at second. Polanco(The Phils MVP this season) has been moved to third and DUckworth sent down for hot Telemaco.

Now, this changes The WC picture. If Utley plays as he did before he was sent down earlier when Polanco came back from Injury, Their situation at third will be fixed.

The Phils also drop dead weight in Duckworth with a pitcher I like when I've seen him pitch.

Also Burrell has begun to heat up.

The WC race just got a whole new dimension added to it.

Burell is definately coming alive, figured it would just be a matter of time (I just didn't think it would be 3/4 through the season!). I was wondering about Duck, he just hasn't had it. I'll keep my eye on Utley though, I don't remember seeing him before.

Just wait till we call up Lenny Harris and Gerald Williams (our secret-weapons)

From Phillies.com

"The roster move was motivated by offense. International League pitchers as a group will not miss Utley, as the left-handed batter is hitting .323 with 18 home runs and 77 RBIs."

What I don't understand is that if you don't have the pitching, it don't matter how much you hit. Do the Phillies have a good rotation? NO Do the Phillies have a good record in divisional play (which is all they get in Sept.)? NO

LMFAO

It's amazing how some Homer's neglect facts.

The Phils are in this race because of their rotation because their offence mainly with RISP has stunk.

do the Phillies have a good rotation?

um duh... yea they do

stupidity runs wild here at the mbforums

Myers, Padilla, Millwood, and Wolf. That is one hell of a rotation. Man this board is smoking some good stuff. Anyone have the inside info on where I can find some?

Well Utley had a nice game today and Burrell is still getting back to where he once was. I was happy he K'd earlier looking rather than what he has been doing which is swinging away at Junk.
