September 19, 200521 yr I was downtown, and I went into the Muni/ BART station (Muni is the San Francisco transit line, BART is the train that you take to get to Oakland) to take Muni home...i needed change to pay my fare for muni, and to do that you have to get it at one of the BART machines, so as I was doing that, I looked over at the machine next to me and it's Joe Mauer buying a BART ticket...I happened to have a baseball in my backpack so I stumbled to get that and a pen, and I caught up with him right before he was going to go through the turnstiles, and got his autograph (sweet spot)...I saw that there were a bunch of Twins players already down there, and considered buying a BART ticket just to go down there and get the autographs, but I was happy with just getting Mauer
September 19, 200521 yr Nice...that reminds me of the time that I was in Seattle, and happened to be staying at the same hotel that the Orioles were staying at. In fact, when I got out of the cab one time, I almost ran into Jorge Julio.
