Typical Offense

Featured Replies

Inconsistency.

We all hoped it wouldn't continue through the end of the season. But apparently it isn't to be.

After an offensive explosion the offense failed to show up again tonight. JP, Conine and Cabrera 1-17 absolutely wasted a fantastic outing by AJ.

Expect 4 or 5 more games like this out of the last 11 folks.

It has happened so many other times this season, why would we expect it wouldn't happen again?

It was more like HOPE it wouldn't happen again.

This offense is just pitiful.

CABRERA WENT 0 FOR F*CKING 6. GREAT JOB CABS...

Cabrera is hitting .208 close and late this season. He may be a huge offensive threat early in the game, or when the game is out of hand. But he underperforms terribly when the game is on the line. He's young and it shows in this area. I'm sure he will improve as he matures in 2006.

I never saw that number but this whole year I've been thinking how Cabrera never comes through in the clutch. You just proved it right there.
