Andino or Gonzalez

Furcal would suck so bad here, we dont want him in the first place. I know everyone rants and raves about his defense, but he has only a tad more range than Gonzalez and racks up throwing errors...so let me ask, would you want Furcal and his innacurate arm throwing to the average at best 1st baseman that is Delgado? He couldn't hardly handle Seabass throws this season.

I don't know what your problem is with Furcal but he'd be great for this team for the lineup and he's not so bad in the field. I really want to see numbers to back up your extreme hatred for Furcal....

I gave a reason. This is his first decent season in the field, and he is badly inaccurate at times and Delgado would not be able to handle a good portion of his throws. And, once again, we dont need 3 leadoff men. In no way, shape, or form should Furcal be brought to this team. His drinking problems would likely make him a cancer we dont need, and he would likely be more expensive than Gonzalez.

:lol :lol :lol :lol

His drinking problems would make him a cancer?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Your really reaching if that's one of your main reasons for not wanting him....

I gave more reasons than that, most notably the fact that we have a 1B that is not very good on defense and doesnt scoop throws in the dirt that often, not much range, and would have trouble taking in the errant throws that usually come out of furcals arm.

Alex doesnt always make good throws either and he seems to fumble the easier plays a lot more then Furcal does...

I never said he always made accurate throws, but he is alot more accurate than Furcal...what do you think led to the guy averaging almost 30 errors so far in his career.
