September 25, 200521 yr I'd like to see everyone's opinions on how Lowell looks there. Range? Reaction time? Thanks.
September 25, 200521 yr I don't get why Lowell is anywhere on the field. Maybe because hes the best defensive player on the team right now?

September 25, 200521 yr I don't get why Lowell is anywhere on the field. Not including today Mike is hitting .333 since that 13 pitch AB last Sunday. 2 doubles, 2 home runs, 3 RBI, 5 walks He's had 4 very hard outs this weekend.

So he's getting paid $8 million to play in the last few games how he should have played all season?

September 25, 200521 yr Also, When Lowell hits fly balls now they are usually a lot deeper than earlier in the year when they were routine flies. He seems to be getting more umphh into it.

It's good to see Lowell picking it up here at the end of the season. It will make it easier to trade him in the off-season.
September 26, 200521 yr Because defense has been our issue all year. :plain I get your point, but the Marlins are 20th or something like that in converting balls in play into outs so obvously defense has been a problem
